Mechanical Supervising Engineer

We are currently seeking  a Mechanical Supervisor Engineer  with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. This exciting opportunity to learn and grow with  Al Shindagha Architects and Engineering Consultants  will involve supervising construction works, ensuring that work on site is in line with contract requirements. Main responsibilities:

  • Assist the engineer in arranging, chairing, and documenting meetings, starting with the kickoff meeting and then progress and business management meetings as needed.

  • Assist the Engineer in establishing procedures for inspection, testing, and commissioning approvals in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Inspect construction works on site and submit non-conformity reports to highlight deviations from contractual requirements.

  • Certification of works executed by the EPC Contractor on behalf of the client and signing of MCCs, CCCs, etc.

  • Review the contractor's Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) plan and ensure that safety procedures are followed on site.

  • Review comments on contractor programs and ensure they are sufficiently detailed to demonstrate compliance with contract requirements, allocated resources, and fund flow.

  • Review ITPs, method statements, and construction materials submissions from the contractor in compliance with contract requirements.

  • Monitor the contractor's progress during the construction period and evaluate production on a regular basis.

  • Implementing Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and conducting periodic audits.

  • Ensure that the contractor communicates with service authorities and other bodies in a timely manner so as not to affect the progress of work, by attending meetings, monitoring agreed-upon programs, and regular follow-up.

  • Assist the Site Manager in daily activities including planning, monitoring, and supervisory activities as assigned by him from time to time.

  • Work closely with the back office team to highlight deviations/issues as a priority and provide quick solutions to the customer.

  • Assist the engineer in preparing major progress reports including any outstanding requirements.

2- We are looking for  a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer  to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, including  HVAC ,  plumbing , and  firefighting,  for various construction projects such as luxury buildings, villas, and more. This role requires close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure  high-quality MEP solutions  .

Main responsibilities:

  • Design of mechanical systems ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.

  • Address and resolve technical issues on site with contractors and consultants.
