Lifting Supervisor
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Lifting Supervisor to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed lifting plans tailored to construction site requirements.
- Assess site conditions and ensure all lifting activities are planned and executed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Oversee crane operators, riggers, and lifting teams during on-site operations.
- Ensure proper rigging techniques and adherence to safe working practices.
- Monitor and control lifting equipment to prevent overloading and ensure safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures during lifting operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations.
- Inspect lifting equipment regularly to confirm certification and maintenance.
- Maintain records of lifting plans, certifications, and safety inspections.
- Report incidents, near misses, or equipment issues to management promptly.
- Train and mentor riggers and other team members in safe lifting practices.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lifting operations within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to create and execute effective lifting plans.
- Certified Lifting Supervisor (e.g., LEEA or equivalent).
- Rigging and signaling certifications.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of lifting equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting load charts and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Lifting Appointed Person
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person to join our construction team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute lifting operations, ensuring all procedures meet safety standards and project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and certification of lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with LEEA standards and local regulations.
- Perform detailed risk assessments for all lifting activities, identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures.
- Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, and site personnel to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations on construction sites.
- Ensure all lifting operations comply with local and international regulations, including LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations).
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the lifting team to enhance safety awareness and operational efficiency.
- Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, equipment certifications, and operational logs for audits and project reviews.
- Work closely with site managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure lifting operations align with project timelines and objectives.
Requirements:
- LEEA Certification (essential).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in lifting operations within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards and regulations.
