Job Details
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify customer requirements, uncover unmet needs, and develop solutions across diverse customer groups.
- Review and support big data infrastructures, ensuring that the existing designs for big data architectures align with business strategic goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tailored solutions.
- Prepare to address complex product or solution-related inquiries or challenges that customers may present.
- Promote an understanding of customer complexities and value propositions to key internal stakeholders through speaking engagements at events, team meetings, and product reviews.
Primary Skills
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Big Data Service (BDS), as well as Big Data Appliance (BDA).
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in languages like Python and Java.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient complex data architectures.
- Experience managing and optimizing large-scale databases.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts to design and optimize data transmission networks, configure network settings, and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both customers and internal teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging big data technologies and trends.
