Job Vacancy: Senior Structural Engineer
📍 Location: Al Dhafra – Madinat Zayed, United Arab Emirates
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our project team in Al Dhafra – Madinat Zayed, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in structural design and supervision, particularly within the UAE construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with structural design and safety standards
• Review and verify structural drawings, designs, and calculation reports
• Inspect contractor work and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulations
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, consultants, and contractors
• Provide technical solutions to design and site-related challenges
• Ensure structural engineering practices follow local and international codes and standards
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE
• Proven experience in site supervision, contractor inspections, and reviewing structural drawings and calculations
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering software and standards
• Solid background in designing and building structures, particularly in commercial and residential projects
Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD)
• Up-to-date knowledge of UAE building codes and standards
