The QHSE Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing and continually improving the company’s quality, health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and management systems.

The role supports safe, compliant and reliable plant operations in accordance with corporate QHSE standards, UAE federal and local regulations, environmental permits, licence conditions and contractual requirements.

The QHSE Manager provides assurance to the General Manager and Management Board that risks affecting people, the environment, assets and reputation are identified, controlled and continually reduced.

• Manage the plant’s QHSE programmes.
• Develop and manage policies and procedures to prevent, eliminate, control and reduce workplace hazards.
• Maintain environmental responsibility across plant operations.
• Support compliance with legal requirements and improvement measures under the Integrated Management System.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 requirements.

• Establish, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Define and maintain site QHSE policies, procedures, work instructions, operational controls and forms.
• Provide regular updates to the General Manager on Integrated Management System performance.
• Report non-conformities, risks and improvement actions through management reviews.
• Plan, conduct and follow up regular management-review meetings.
• Ensure that QHSE performance, audit results, objectives and improvement plans are documented and tracked.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the engineering integrity, reliability and lifecycle management of the plant’s mechanical systems.

The role provides technical leadership for mechanical equipment across the facility and ensures that maintenance strategies, inspection regimes and engineering solutions support safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.

The engineer leads the planning and delivery of major outages, shutdowns and complex maintenance activities from an engineering perspective.

Responsibilities include technical-scope definition, risk assessment and maintaining applicable engineering standards.

This is an engineering position and does not include direct supervision of maintenance technicians or craft personnel.

The employee will support the Finance team in monitoring operational costs, preparing reports and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities at a waste-to-energy operations and maintenance plant.

The role works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and Warehouse teams to understand how plant activities affect financial performance.

During the first six months, the employee will rotate across the following departments:

• Accounting.
• Procurement.
• Stores.
• Operations.
• Maintenance.

The rotation is intended to build an understanding of plant processes, cost drivers and financial workflows.

This position is exclusively open to UAE nationals in alignment with the Nafis program.

• Assist in monitoring operations and maintenance expenditure against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Support the tracking of spare-parts, consumables, chemicals, manpower and utility costs.
• Help ensure that costs are correctly allocated to cost centres and activities.
• Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices for completeness and basic financial accuracy.
• Support inventory-cost tracking and consumption analysis with the warehouse team.
• Assist in preparing monthly cost reports.
• Support basic variance analysis.

The position supports the purchasing, receiving and storage of spare parts, wear parts, tools and consumables.

The use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System is a key part of the employee’s daily work.

• Work with operations and maintenance personnel to prioritize and coordinate required work.
• Review the timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
• Track inventory levels.
• Order new supplies in a timely manner.
• Ensure that facility equipment, particularly tools, is properly maintained.
• Set up and pre-stage warehouse parts.
• Help locate and retrieve parts to expedite maintenance work.
• Maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System records.
• Prepare purchase requests for spare parts and wear parts.
• Conduct the annual inventory of parts, consumables and tools.

Duties may change or vary according to the specific needs of the business.

• High-school diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or electronic technical-school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• At least three years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control or recordkeeping.
