Structural BIM Modeler

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Structural BIM Modeler to join our team, with a primary focus on converting 2D CAD structural drawings into accurate 3D BIM models in line with DM BIM standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in CAD and Revit, along with experience applying standardized BIM workflows to deliver consistency and quality across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Convert 2D structural CAD drawings into precise 3D BIM models following DM BIM standards.
Collaborate with architectural BIM modelers and coordinators to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies between CAD and BIM.
Ensure the accuracy and coordination of BIM models with architectural and other disciplines.
Revise and update BIM models based on design changes and project requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD-to-BIM workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural BIM modeling, especially CAD-to-BIM conversion.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural) and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with DM BIM standards and ability to apply them effectively.
Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction documentation.
Ability to accurately interpret 2D CAD drawings and translate them into BIM models.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Skills

Experience in multidisciplinary BIM environments.
Knowledge of international BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
Familiarity with Industry Foundation Classes (IFC).

GIS/BIM Developer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented GIS Developer with strong expertise in C#, Python, and ArcPy, along with proven experience in integrating CAD and BIM data into GIS platforms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications, tools, and workflows to support enterprise GIS solutions, while building innovative integrations that bridge CAD/BIM environments with GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain GIS applications and tools using C# and Python.
Automate geoprocessing workflows and spatial analysis using ArcPy and ArcGIS APIs.
Design and implement solutions for converting and integrating CAD and BIM datasets into GIS platforms.
Create and optimize geospatial databases, including schema design, data modeling, and spatial indexing.
Develop scripts and tools to streamline data processing, validation, and visualization.
Collaborate with CAD, BIM, and engineering teams to ensure smooth data exchange.
Implement standards and best practices for CAD-to-GIS and BIM-to-GIS workflows.
Support GIS integration with enterprise systems and web services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize GIS applications and automation workflows.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in GIS, CAD/BIM, and software development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geomatics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a GIS Developer or similar role.
Strong programming skills in C# and Python.
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcPy, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ESRI technologies.
Knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and CAD-to-GIS workflows.
Experience in BIM-to-GIS integration (Revit, IFC standards, or other BIM tools).
Strong understanding of geospatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial, or similar).
Familiarity with web GIS technologies (ArcGIS Online, REST APIs, JavaScript API).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) for CAD/BIM-to-GIS automation.
Knowledge of 3D GIS and spatial analysis.
Experience with cloud-based GIS (Azure, AWS, ArcGIS Enterprise on cloud).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
