Rig Electrician

Job Purpose:

Supervise and participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical equipment and related electrical elements of mechanical equipment on assigned rig, including AC distribution, power and lighting systems, DC electric drive systems, control boards, switch-gear assembly, S.C.R/VFD equipment, and drilling instruments. Implement preventive maintenance programs and perform breakdown repairs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Company and contract personnel engaged in electrical maintenance and repair on the rig

• Allocate jobs according to skills and check work upon completion

• Perform supervisory functions as per management guidelines

• Respond to and investigate breakdowns; delegate work or perform complex tasks personally

• Diagnose faults by testing, isolating equipment, and repairing or replacing components

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years as Sustainability Specialist

• Knowledge of international sustainability standards, codes, and work practices

1. فني كهرباء منصات حفر (Rig Electrician)

الغرض من الوظيفة:

الإشراف والمشاركة في تركيب وإصلاح وصيانة جميع المعدات الكهربائية والعناصر الكهربائية المرتبطة بالمعدات الميكانيكية على المنصة المخصصة، بما في ذلك:

• أنظمة توزيع التيار المتردد (AC) وأنظمة الطاقة والإضاءة

• أنظمة القيادة الكهربائية بالتيار المستمر (DC)

• لوحات التحكم وتجميع المفاتيح الكهربائية

• أجهزة SCR/VFD
