Coordinator, Operations

Job Summary:

Assist in the management of AV systems integration projects to achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with project tasks as assigned
Review and acquire a thorough knowledge of contract documents for each assigned project including but not limited to: project scope of work, bid drawings and specifications, contract, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules
Solicit quotes from qualified subcontractors as required
Participate in internal project kick-off meetings that include key participants from sales, engineering, fabrication, and installation
Assist with internal and external project communication and documentation from the time of project handoff from account management through close-out
Provide weekly job progress reports to all internal and external stakeholders
Assist with ordering of materials for projects from engineering approval through production administration order placement
Assist with management in the change order process
Verify quality of work performed by internal resources and subcontractors
Assist in facilitation of the testing and certification of installed systems
Stay abreast of project management processes and project steps
Ensure all closeout/as-built documentation is created and stored in respective job folder locations for service and/or future office reference.

Role Purpose

The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental management system on construction projects in compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international standards. The role ensures a safe workplace for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors while promoting a culture of continuous HSE improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with company and client HSE policies, procedures, and project-specific requirements.
Carry out daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Assist in the development and review of risk assessments (RA), method statements (MS), and permit-to-work (PTW) documentation.
Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, hot works, and confined space entry.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive measures.
Maintain records of HSE inspections, audits, incidents, and training for compliance and reporting purposes.

Job Summary:

Design, specify, and manage the installation of integrated audiovisual (AV) and extra-low-voltage (ELV) systems, including active/passive network infrastructure, access control/security, and CCTV—working with leading industry manufacturers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical oversight of a project from conception through installation and completion.
Review hour estimates based on needs analysis, scope, and bid requirements.
Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings, calculations, and acoustical modeling.
Design, specify, and integrate ELV systems: Security (Lenel or similar), CCTV (Axis, Milestone, etc.), Passive Network Cabling (Belden, Panduit, CommScope/SYSTIMAX, Leviton, Corning), Active Networking (Cisco, Aruba/HP, Extreme, Netgear).
Identify technical or logistical impediments to delivering the scope.
Identify special project requirements: test equipment, specialized tools, rigging, and more.
Test and commission both AV systems (audio DSP, video processing, control software) and ELV systems (access control, network configuration).
