The Senior Manager – Risk is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s risk management framework. This role ensures the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of various risks including strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and reputational, in alignment with regulatory requirements and shareholder expectations.

1. Risk Management Framework Development & Implementation

Design, implement, and continuously enhance the risk management framework in line with ISO 31000, COSO ERM, and UAE regulatory standards.

Ensure risk policies, procedures, and tools are up-to-date, effective, and reflect the organization’s risk appetite.
2. Risk Identification, Assessment & Mitigation
-
Lead risk identification workshops, scenario planning, and risk assessments across business units.

Maintain and update risk registers and heat maps. Assign ownership and accountability to specific risk owners.

Collaborate with departments to develop and embed risk mitigation strategies into the company’s corporate strategy.

تحديث سجلات المخاطر وخرائط الحرارة، وتعيين المالكين للمخاطر وتحديد المسؤوليات بوضوح.

Key Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance & Reporting

Lead all tax planning initiatives, ensuring the Group’s tax position is optimized while remaining fully compliant with laws and regulations.

Ensure timely and accurate tax return filing across all entities in various jurisdictions.

Supervise month-end closing processes to guarantee accurate tax reporting.
2. Strategic Tax Advisory

Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to design tax-efficient strategies aligned with business goals.

Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on complex tax matters impacting key decisions.
3. Stakeholder Management
-
Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and local authorities.

Provide support during audits and ensure timely resolution of tax issues.
