About the Role

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Design & Technology aligned with IGCSE and A-Level curricula
Integrate technology and real-world design thinking into student projects
Provide support for students’ individual learning needs and development
Participate in professional development and whole-school initiatives
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance curriculum delivery
Contribute to pastoral care and the holistic growth of students

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology or a related field
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Design & Technology
Experience in IGCSE & A-Level curriculum delivery is essential
MYP experience is an advantage
Demonstrated history of effective professional development
Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written)
Strong IT, interpersonal, and communication skills
Creativity, innovation, and a proven record of quality classroom practice
Commitment to student wellbeing and cultural sensitivity
