 Teaching Assistant

About The Role

Teaching Assistants play an important role in creating a positive learning environment for our students. Working under the supervision of a teacher, a Teaching Assistant may work with children on an individual basis, in small groups or with a whole class to embed day-to-day learning. Teaching Assistants also contribute to monitoring the progress of students and provide feedback to support the teacher in providing a more individualised approach to learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A minimum of a high school diploma level education

A minimum of 2-years experience working in a similar position

A sound understanding of teaching best practice

High level of fluency in written and spoken English

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents

The Role

All our students – from Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSEs and A-levels – follow the English National Curriculum. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximising student progress. Procurement Officer

PROCUREMENT

Supervising stock control of stationery and class resources. 

Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build effective supplier relationships.

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the school’s goals and budget.

Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.

Processing of stationery and resource orders, raising order documentation, processing through JDE and to suppliers. 

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.

Managing order levels cost effectively. 

Collect and/or deliver materials within the building if required. 

Administering the overall school purchase process, including negotiation of costs with suppliers and effective budgeting.

Resolve procurement-related issues, including supplier disputes and delivery problems.

Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.

Managing overall teaching and administration procurement requirements from start to end.
