Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing and executing all financial transactions related to factory operations, including payment processing, budget tracking, inventory monitoring, and ERP data management. The role involves close coordination with the Head Office Finance Department to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payment Processing and ERP Entry:

   • Prepare and enter payment requests in the ERP system for internal approvals.

   • Handle bank payment vouchers and receipts with precision and accuracy.

2. Budget Monitoring and Expense Control:

   • Assist in preparing the factory’s monthly and annual budgets.

   • Track expenses regularly and report any variances from the approved budget.

3. Procurement and Vendor Coordination:

   • Process purchase requests, goods received notes (GRNs), and vendor invoices.

   • Liaise with vendors for quotations, deliveries, and payment follow-ups.

4. Financial Data Management:

   • Maintain accurate and updated financial data in the ERP system.

   • Ensure proper documentation and timely processing of all transactions.

5. Inventory and Asset Control:

   • Monitor inventory movement within the factory and maintain accurate records.

   • Maintain a detailed and up-to-date Fixed Asset Register.

6. Coordination with Head Office:

   • Work closely with the Finance Manager at Head Office for monthly reporting and approvals.

   • Support in bank reconciliations, monthly closings, and internal audits.

7. Compliance and Process Improvement:

   • Ensure all financial processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.

   • Identify areas for process improvement and support workflow optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in the UAE.

• Proficient in ERP systems with knowledge of GRNs, POs, and vouchers.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and inventory control.

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to join immediately is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time (9 am to 6 pm, 1-hour break)

Location: Sharjah – Sajaa Industrial Area

Salary: 3,000 - 4,000 AED

Expected Start Date: 10/04/2025
