SAR - Captain

Position Code: SAR-CAPTAIN

Job Description

The SAR-CAPTAIN is responsible for conducting and performing all assigned tasks of a helicopter in Search and Rescue (SAR) and Aero-medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) missions, by day or night, including NVG (Night Vision Goggles) flights, within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) utilizing UAE military aircraft. This position demands professionalism, precision, and strong decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

AW139 type rating with 500+ flight hours on type
Minimum 3,000 helicopter flight hours
Instrument Rating (IR) with FAA/GCAA, EASA, or military equivalent
NVG/CRM/MCC Qualification

NVG flight experience of 180+ hours
SAR experience with hoist operations and MEDEVAC
English proficiency: ELP 4 minimum
Excellent communication skills
