 Senior Leadership Opportunity in the UAE – Head of Compliance Operations & Strategy!

Role Overview

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for monitoring and evolving VEON’s compliance framework to align with strategic objectives and industry trends. Acting as Chief of Staff to the Global Head of Ethics and Compliance, you will oversee the compliance function’s budget, resources, and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and integration of best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment and Innovation

• Update and monitor the operational framework to align compliance activities with VEON’s strategic goals.

• Stay ahead of industry developments to integrate innovative compliance practices and maintain a proactive compliance program.

Proactive Policy Development

• Lead the creation and enhancement of compliance policies and processes, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and are adaptable to regulatory changes.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Align compliance initiatives across business units and OpCos to maintain a unified and agile compliance function.

• Support the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance in driving a consistent compliance strategy across the organization.

Risk Management and ControlsCollaborate with the Risk and Controls Lead to design and implement forward-thinking risk management strategies.

• Ensure compliance controls are effective, adaptable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

المواءمة الاستراتيجية والابتكار

• تحديث ومراقبة الإطار التشغيلي للامتثال لضمان توافقه مع الأهداف الاستراتيجية لشركة VEON.

• مراقبة تطورات الصناعة وتطبيق ممارسات مبتكرة للحفاظ على برنامج امتثال متقدم واستباقي.

تطوير السياسات الاستباقية

• قيادة إعداد وتحديث سياسات وإجراءات الامتثال لضمان توافقها مع أفضل الممارسات وقابليتها للتكيف مع المتغيرات التنظيمية المستقبلية.

التنسيق بين الوحدات التشغيلية

• تنسيق مبادرات الامتثال عبر الوحدات التشغيلية وشركات التشغيل (OpCos) لضمان تطبيق موحد ومرن لمعايير الامتثال.

• دعم الرئيس العالمي للأخلاقيات والامتثال في تنفيذ استراتيجية موحدة على مستوى الشركة.

إدارة المخاطر والرقابة

• التعاون مع قائد إدارة المخاطر والرقابة لوضع استراتيجيات متقدمة لإدارة المخاطر.

• التأكد من أن ضوابط الامتثال فعالة، متكيفة، ومتوافقة مع المتطلبات التنظيمية.
