Field Engineer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

• Install and commission maritime electronics on ships, including radars, sonars, and autopilots.
• Work at shipyards with various vessel types such as cargo ships and yachts.
• Represent Radio Holland and coordinate activities with other professionals on board.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings for installation processes.
• Ensure proper handover of equipment to customers after commissioning.
• Collaborate with shipyards and other onboard teams for seamless project execution.
• Maintain high-quality standards in equipment installation and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Operate with a high level of independence and responsibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Primary work location is Dubai, with a local scope of duties.

Requirements:

• Vocational education with a technical or industrial background.
• Experience in a similar field, preferably within the maritime industry.
• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written).
