About the Job Viory is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Intake Producer to lead our breaking news coverage and ensure our planned stories remain on course. You will manage the Intake Editor’s team, prioritize key stories, verify facts and footage, and coordinate with various departments to ensure our reporting stays ahead of the competition. Responsibilities Monitor breaking news and implement appropriate coverage strategies. Make editorial decisions independently or with the Head of Intake as needed. Manage communications with upper management and cross-functional teams. Lead and support the Intake Editors team in the Head of Intake’s absence. Ensure coverage decisions are executed efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with crews and stringers on the ground for seamless reporting. Hire and assign freelance crews with prior approval from the Head of Intake. Collaborate closely with other newsroom desks. Verify incoming news packages following Viory Verification Unit standards. Source, secure, and acquire rights to user-generated videos. Prepare detailed handover notes to ensure smooth workflow transitions. Communicate effectively with the Client Desk, partners, and subscribers. Generate ideas for news features and compelling investigative pieces.
