As a member of the reservoir engineering group:
- Builds and maintains reservoir engineering models and coaches the community on simulation tasks.
- Contributes, supports, and delivers reservoir engineering tasks using appropriate tools and solutions.
- Monitors reservoir performance to ensure GSA forecasts can be met and value from oil developments are maximized.
- Provides input to the Hydrocarbon Resource Maturation Process.

Manages the daily payroll operations for Crescent Petroleum. Reviews the payroll processes while ensuring compliance with payroll legislation. Maintains and distributes petty cash expenditures according to the company’s accounting principles and guidelines. Supports the development and implementation of accounting policies, systems, and procedures, particularly those related to payroll and petty cash. Reports to the Senior Manager, Payroll & Cost Control.
Essential Functions
Payroll Operational Responsibilities
- Manages the daily payroll operations for Crescent Petroleum to ensure that all payroll transactions and reports are processed and completed according to Crescent Accounting guidelines.
- Reviews and monitors the payroll summary reports for accuracy and compliance and manages related activities such as housing advance. Ensures adherence to Crescent generally accepted accounting principles.
- Releases all approved salaries and allowances in coordination with concerned entities and the Human Resources department.
- Reviews and monitors the banking activities such as employee loans and performs required actions accordingly.
- Analyzes the employees’ timesheets which provide breakdown of working hours/vacations. Takes necessary actions when needed.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of generally accepted accounting policies and procedures specifically those related to the payroll function.
- Maintains all relevant documents and records of the payroll operations.
Systems Engineer

Major Functions
Primary responsibility will be administering the cloud platform (Microsoft Azure) including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, provisioning, deployment, backup, patching, upgrading, etc.
Will also be responsible for administering the Office 365 ecosystem including, but not limited to, Microsoft Licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, etc.
Additional responsibilities will include administering other communication and collaboration platforms like Zoom, Webex, etc.
Will be responsible for administering Active Directory (on-prem and Azure) including, but not limited to, deploying/decommissioning domain controllers (DC), ensuring connectivity between on-prem DCs and Azure Active Directory in the parent and child domains, group policies, updating and patching servers, etc.
Will work closely with the Senior Systems Engineers and provide Administrative support on servers such as DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, File servers, Azure, Office365, Video Conferencing solutions, Backups, etc.
Will be responsible for managing and deploying Intune MDM & MAM policies.
Will closely coordinate with the PBX system vendor to ensure that telephony services are always online. This includes SIP trunks between various locations.
Will provide IT user support to the user community as and when required.
Support Calls will be handled by phone, in person, or remotely. All Support calls will have to be logged into the IT ticketing system and closed in a timely manner as per predefined SLAs.
