Key responsibilities and dutiesare listed, but not limited to, the below:

Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction ensuring it is compatible with the proposed designs; inspect and identify any obstructions

Monitor the implementation of the contractor’s quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports when required

Prepare reports on daily progress, reporting on inspections made and work executed, ensuring its compliance with the contract

Review materials for conformance with pre-approved samples and report findings; ensure they are stored appropriately

Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, Quality Management Plan in line with legislation, certification, contract requirements and company governance

Observe, check and record work execution is in accordance with approved methods

Check setting-out and levels

Observe site safety procedures and monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required

Construction Manager

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Managing and overseeing the delivery of construction works on the project

Ensuring Mott MacDonald HSE standards are kept at the forefront of all activities and are applied at every stage of the project

Overseeing site works to ensure they are in adherence to the contract

Setting up proper communication line with the Consultant and Contractor to address issues that may arise; ensuring corrective and preventative measures are taken in a timely manner.

Advising the project teams on planned logistics and contractual matters.

Reviewing and accepting project delivery plans submitted by contractors; making recommendations/suggestions where needed.

Reviewing project progress and considering mitigation measures.

Attending meetings with the Contractor and Consultant to present project progress and highlighting issues with corrective measures

Planning Manager

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Integrate schedule requirements and constraints to establish work sequences for all disciplines or specialties.

Review and assess the work sequences with the developed and agreed project plan

Establish and implement methods of determining activity schedules within the project team

Develop quantity release and/or installation curves

Review and approve invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules

Review schedule data – identify and acquire information needed to complete work logics to interface between project teams.

Determines critical-path activities for project milestones

Identify significant supporting for all milestones and identify and develop critical path for each project team and activities

Monitor schedule deviations including subcontractor submittals; recommend corrective action/work-around any issues that may arise

Responsible for identifying success criteria and overseeing the development and implementation of project controls
