Account Associate
Job Summary
-
Manages the relationship with assigned portfolio of Cigna Insurance Middle East and Africa clients.

Ensures performance of each assigned policy to agreed service levels, customer/client satisfaction, and drives continuous improvement.

Resolves complex customer issues and identifies improvements to prevent issues from re-occurring.

Educates clients on plan design and renewal options.

Participates in strategic meetings on retention rate, success, and challenges.

Builds and maintains relationships with brokers, clients, and internal customers.

Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
-
Work hand in hand with the Corporate Client Manager to proactively manage and negotiate renewal, executing annual renewal strategy and optimizing profitability.

Peer review of the Renewal Proposal, Installation documents, final rates, and Table of Benefits (TOBs).
-
Support in preparing, analyzing, and presenting Quarterly Claims Reviews and Member Orientation sessions.
-
Must have an excellent understanding of all Compliance requirements in the GCC and proactively identify any Compliance risk for your brokers/clients.

Take the lead in day-to-day enquiries for assigned portfolio, working with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and escalations within agreed timelines.
Risk & Underwriter Associate Analyst – UAE National
Responsibilities
-
Assist in evaluating risk and pricing SME new business and renewals by working with relevant salespeople and account managers.

Learn to assess claims history, medical disclosures, or other relevant data to make informed decisions.

Prepare Table of Benefits and inception documents for renewals and new business inceptions.

Learn market dynamics; understanding competition, the environment, and clients’ needs.

Support in ensuring Underwriting (UW) guidelines meet compliance requirements from a pricing and benefit perspective.

Participate in problem-solving activities to define problems, identify root causes, and suggest solutions for continuous process and procedure improvements.

Utilize and adhere to internal guidelines and procedures to ensure that all assigned work is processed timely and meets compliance standards.
