About the Team
Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is the largest tertiary hospital in the UAE, supporting the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. With 44 medical specialties, 742 patient beds, 18 operating theatres, and the UAE’s largest pathology lab, SSMC serves as a regional hub for advanced, integrated, and patient-centric healthcare delivered by multidisciplinary teams of local and international professionals.
Details
The volunteer will receive structured training while supporting education administration functions and collaborating with multiple departments. The role is designed to provide exposure to organizational operations, policies, and management practices within a large healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
Interface with members of different departments and sections. Receive training and perform assigned duties within designated departments. Learn line and staff functions, operational workflows, management perspectives, and organizational policies. Observe experienced employees to understand methods, procedures, and performance standards. Support performance goal setting with management and monitor progress with trainers. Receive cross-departmental training to enhance transferability and development opportunities. Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow. Carry out additional responsibilities related to the role as assigned.
Requirements
Proficiency in the English language. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office. Arabic language proficiency is desirable. Ability to perform desk-based work for up to eight hours with extensive computer use and interdepartmental coordination.

التفاصيل
يشمل الدور التطوعي تلقي تدريب منظم والمشاركة في مهام الإدارة التعليمية، مع العمل والتنسيق مع عدة أقسام داخل المستشفى. يهدف الدور إلى تزويد المتطوع بفهم شامل للعمليات والسياسات وأساليب الإدارة داخل منشأة صحية كبرى.
المسؤوليات
التواصل مع أعضاء الأقسام المختلفة. تلقي التدريب وتنفيذ المهام الموكلة داخل الأقسام المحددة. التعرف على الوظائف التشغيلية والإدارية والسياسات المؤسسية. مراقبة الموظفين ذوي الخبرة لاكتساب المعرفة بالأساليب والإجراءات ومعايير الأداء. المساهمة في تحديد الأهداف ومتابعة التقدم مع الإدارة والمدربين. تلقي تدريب في أقسام مختلفة لتعزيز فرص التطور والتنقل الوظيفي. المشاركة الفعالة في العمل الجماعي والتعاون مع الزملاء لضمان سير العمل بسلاسة. تنفيذ أي مهام إضافية مرتبطة بالدور.
الشروط
إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية. مهارات جيدة في استخدام الحاسب الآلي وبرامج Microsoft Office. إجادة اللغة العربية تُعد ميزة إضافية. القدرة على أداء عمل مكتبي لمدة تصل إلى ثماني ساعات مع استخدام مكثف للحاسوب والتنسيق بين الأقسام.
