Core Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain information governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy policies and standards.

Senior Accountant - Maritime

Finance & Accounting Officer – UAE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Officer to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations. This role will work closely with management, chartering, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial information and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue financial reports to management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Document financial transactions by entering account information into Oracle Fusion.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
Verify documentation and process payments/disbursements.
Collaborate with Chartering & Operations to produce accurate voyage profit and loss reports.
Analyze and maintain general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable/payable, accruals, prepayments, deposits, and fixed assets.
Liaise with banks for verifications and documentation.
Review bank statements and prepare bank reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors to produce accurate financial reports.
Manage petty cash and prepare special financial reports by analyzing account information and trends.
Enter various transactions in Oracle Fusion, including supplier/customer invoices, payments, receipts, and journal vouchers.
