The position is mainly office-based but includes site visits.

Key Responsibilities

Office Duties

• Conduct site visits to understand project scope, measurements, and requirements

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, managers, project managers, site supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion

• Monitor site progress through work reports and compare with planned schedules, noting material usage, tools, and safety compliance

• Create, verify, and approve drawings, technical documentation, MRF, and other required paperwork

Al Saheeh Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Engineering Division. This high-level role involves the design, estimation, execution, testing & commissioning (T&C), and maintenance of Mechanical, Plumbing & Drainage systems, including HVAC and Fire Fighting systems for construction projects. The role is primarily office-based with site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Design HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing & Drainage systems according to regulatory, consultant, or client requirements

• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD or similar software and obtain approvals

• Takeoff quantities to prepare tender pricing, documentation, and create B.O.Q with pricing details

Execution & Coordination

• Execute HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing & Drainage services on-site in coordination with consultants, clients, and site engineers

• Liaise with DM, DEWA, SEWA, DCD, RTA, and other regulatory bodies for approvals, NOCs, and documentation

• Coordinate with site engineers and manage technical teams to ensure timely project completion

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor site progress, noting material usage, tools, and safety compliance

• Track site changes or revisions and communicate promptly to relevant parties

• Attend client, consultant, and regulatory meetings and update project details accordingly

• Prepare MRFs in advance to ensure availability of materials

• Verify equipment lists, material work orders, and ductwork design parameters
