Senior Mechanical Engineer - Design

About the job

We are seeking a

Senior Mechanical Engineer - Design to join our team in

Dubai, UAE.

Our team is looking for a candidate with significant

Mechanical design experience, specifically with

Data Center or Critical Facilities projects. This candidate will be office-based and will help grow our team, manage, and develop our young engineers.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for representing the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. You will be responsible for designing large projects, preparing reports and specifications, and providing a high level of technical leadership.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
Supervising preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions.
Maintaining interdisciplinary coordination with other trades/projects consultants.
Monitoring all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc.
Supervising construction administrative duties such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing bulletins and addenda, etc.
Periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.
Participating in and contributing to the business unit’s Technical Leadership Committee.
Assisting the Technical Director in business unit technical training and staff mentoring.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
10 years' experience working in a consulting firm. This is a Senior level role that requires a background in the
MEP Engineering Industry.
Data Center design experience is a must.
Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience required, as you will have a very strong technical role.
Preferable
already in UAE.
Joining within
1 month.

Principal Mechanical Engineer

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Provide expert guidance on complex engineering problems and solutions.
Utilize advanced tools and methodologies for mechanical analysis, including
FEA (Finite Element Analysis),
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), and other relevant technologies.
Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies, methods, and materials.
Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and training.
Periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
15+ years' experience working in a consulting firm. Requires a background in the
MEP Engineering Industry.
Handled multiple
data center projects previously.
Expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and simulation tools.

فريقنا يبحث عن مرشح ذو خبرة كبيرة في

تصميم الميكانيكا، تحديدًا في مشاريع

مراكز البيانات أو المنشآت الحيوية. سيكون هذا المرشح مقره في المكتب وسيعمل على تطوير فريقنا وإدارة وتوجيه مهندسينا الشباب.

10 سنوات من الخبرة في العمل في شركة استشارية، وهذا دور رفيع المستوى يتطلب خلفية في
صناعة الهندسة الميكانيكية والإنشائية MEP.
خبرة في تصميم مراكز البيانات أمر ضروري.
خبرة عملية في التصميم وبرامج CAD/REVIT، حيث سيكون لديك دور تقني قوي.
يفضل أن يكون المرشح
