Responsibilities:
- Operate light or heavy vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following traffic rules and regulations.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Load and unload cargo, using appropriate equipment and securing loads as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
- Follow instructions from dispatchers and route schedules to optimize delivery routes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and vehicle maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE driver’s license for light and heavy vehicles.
- Proven experience as a light or heavy vehicle driver, with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
