Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of food handling and preparation areas, including kitchens, storage facilities, and dining areas, to identify potential hazards.
- Monitor and evaluate food handling practices, including hygiene, sanitation, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention, and provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
- Investigate food safety incidents, complaints, and outbreaks, and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety activities, including inspection reports, training records, and incident logs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, microbiology, or a related field.
- Certification in food safety management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) preferred.
- Proven experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
