Process and Policy Development Specialist (Visio/Aris)
About the Job
Client Introduction:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of our esteemed clients. This client is a global leader in the IT industry, known for its commitment to quality and innovation. They have chosen Dautom as their trusted partner for their upcoming projects.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process and Policy Development Specialist with expertise in process design and improvement for core construction or support functions within Finance, IT, and other business areas. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in developing comprehensive processes and policies, with a strong focus on using tools like Microsoft Visio (Aris is an added advantage). This role will support key functions such as Facility Management, HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Property Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures for core business functions in Finance, IT, or other support departments.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand existing processes and recommend improvements or optimizations.
- Utilize Visio to create detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to support process improvements.
- If familiar with Aris, leverage the tool to enhance process development and optimization.
- Ensure processes are compliant with internal standards and best practices within the industry.
- Support various departments such as Facility Management, HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Property Management in improving their workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in process development and policy implementation.
- Proven experience in creating and optimizing processes for core or support functions, particularly in Finance, IT, or related departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio is required; experience with Aris is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex processes into simple, actionable steps.
- Ability to collaborate with various business functions to deliver process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain process changes and updates clearly to stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in Facility Management, HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, or Property Management.
- Familiarity with change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Full Stack Engineer
Skills:
- Proficiency in Angular and .NET Core.
- Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) & RDBMS (MSSQL, Postgress or MySQL).
- Knowledge of caching, queuing, and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis.
- Excellent problem-solving and coding skills.
- Solid grasp of SOLID Principles & Design patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and debugging.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and Elasticsearch is a plus.
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Estimating quantity as per Approved for Construction drawings based on actual onsite changes in quantity as per site conditions.
- Coordinate with the site construction team and Engineering department to finalize and certify the actual physical work done at site to facilitate subcontractor payments.
- Review scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings, and Specifications.
- Ensure quantity take-off QS Team are within company standards and project requirements, and scheduled Scope are available in the system for monitoring.
- Monitor field design changes as per site conditions and STQ, and process subcontractor work payments.
- Monitor quantity of material received by the material controller, issued, and used at site by subcontractor to facilitate weekly progress.
- Evaluate Site Instruction with Planned cost in comparison to original approved contract scope of work, identify differences in scope, and finalize the site instruction with Planned cost for submission through Cost control for approval.
- Ensure that the subcontractor submits a new price if activity is not included in the original scope of works and process the new price for evaluation and approval from management.
- Assess change work Orders and Variations (Subcontractor and Client) in line with the Contract of Agreement.
- Monitor flow of payments to subcontractors against budget quantities and actual progress.
- Evaluate Progress Measurement submitted by Subcontractor QS and generate reports to Company’s Main system for progress Measurement and Accounting.
- Review and assess complex and high-risk scope of works for possible Value Engineering.
- Monitor weekly man hours spent against budgeted man hours.
- Propose a tagging system for new items with corresponding activities for proper identification and monitoring.
- Review Tender Documents and Client requirements.
- Evaluate Material Specifications and Prices of Vendors/Subcontractors against Project Specifications.
- Monitor projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, and time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Analyze feasibility reports of various projects to locate bottlenecks for timely completion.
- Coordinate technical and commercial meetings with clients and subcontractors.
- Conduct joint surveys with both parties to check actual work done and align Progress Measurement with Finalized Weekly Progress Percentage.
Scrum Master
Qualifications:
- A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similarly relevant field with 6+ years of IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Product owner/Team Lead/Developer experience is a bonus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a bonus.
Advanced Level:
- Experience in agile methodology and frameworks; SAFE would be considered a bonus.
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively, as well as resolve impediments quickly.
- Ability to handle evolutions constructively and smoothly.
- Track record in resolving conflicts, scope management, tracking issues & risks, communicating with partners, and supporting vendor management.
- Experience in managing agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, etc.).
Intermediate Level:
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to the team and management.
- Experience in agile transformation at an enterprise level.
- Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, and release management.
