Purchasing Officer

About the Job

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years (UAE experience mandatory)

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Purchase Officer will be responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of materials, cost control, and smooth coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders
Coordinate with approved suppliers for quotations and deliveries
Ensure timely availability of materials at site and warehouse
Verify material specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules
Maintain purchase records, invoices, and delivery documentation
Coordinate with procurement, site, and accounts teams for smooth operations
Track material costs and support cost-control initiatives

Requirements

Minimum 2–4 years of purchase experience in the UAE construction industry
Knowledge of construction materials (waterproofing & flooring preferred)
Familiarity with local suppliers and procurement procedures
Good documentation and coordination skills
Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP systems

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the Job

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

Experience: Minimum 2 years (UAE experience preferred)

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and commercial coordination for waterproofing and flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and material forecasts
Monitor project costs and support cost control activities
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier comparisons
Assist in interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement team
Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Minimum 2 years of QS experience in the UAE construction industry
Experience in waterproofing and flooring works is an advantage
Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, and rate analysis
Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools
Good analytical and coordination skills
