We are looking to hire an Insect Caregiver with the following skills & qualifications:
The Insect Caregiver/Attendant at EMIRATES PARK ZOO is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the park's butterfly and insect populations. This role involves feeding, monitoring, and ensuring the health and well-being of various insect species, as well as maintaining their habitats. The Insect Caregiver/Attendant will work closely with biologists and other staff to create a thriving environment for insects and enhance the visitor experience through educational engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Insect Care and Feeding:

Prepare and provide food for butterflies and other insects according to established protocols

Monitor insect feeding behaviors and adjust diets as necessary

Maintain clean and safe feeding areas
Health Monitoring:

Conduct daily health checks on insect populations, noting any signs of illness or distress

Report health concerns to the Senior Insect Caregiver or Head Biologist promptly

Assist in administering treatments and interventions as directed
Reservation Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
-
Supervise and guide the reservations team on daily activities
-
Manage bookings via phone, email, and online platforms
-
Ensure accurate recording of guest details, dates, times, and special requests
-
Monitor reservation levels and availability, optimizing seating or room allocations
-
Handle booking issues, complaints, and last-minute changes professionally
-
Coordinate with front office, operations, restaurant, or events team
-
Prepare daily and weekly reservation reports for management
-
Train and evaluate new reservation staff

Maintain compliance with company policies and service standards
Requirements & Qualifications:

Previous experience in reservations, front office, or customer service

Pet Groomer
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a recognized grooming course

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with breed-specific grooming styles and techniques

Animal Handling: Ability to work with different sizes, breeds, and temperaments

Communication: Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively consult with pet owners

Personal Qualities: Patience, keen attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare

Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting pets, and performing repetitive tasks
