Senior Urban Designer

Qualifications

9+ years of professional experience, including experience in architecture, urban design and planning.
Experience in planning and urban design projects in the MENA region.
Bachelor’s degree in urban design, planning, architecture or landscape architecture.
A graduate degree in planning or urban design is preferred.
Professional certification and/or license in one or more of the following: AICP, NOMA, AIA, LEED or other pertinent credentials.
Design Excellence - Strong working knowledge of best practices related to urban design best practices and sustainable design solutions. Creative thinking abilities.

Leadership - Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff. Interest in representing SSH to clients and the broader community.
Flexibility - Ability to work with different teams in different time zones to effectively advance the design aspects of complex projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel and support work outside of region.
Communication - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable with presenting projects to clients and the authorities.

Senior Public Health Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Engineers and Technicians on a daily basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout.
Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project.
Develop a thorough project delivery strategy.
Produce detailed scope of services for specialist sub-consultant.
Lead the design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery is achieved within the set time and budget.
Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.

Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor's queries, etc.
Responsible, with guidance from Senior team members, for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports.
Actively pursue or has achieved professional accreditation and licensure.
Responsible for coordinating QA/QC and review processes on each project responsible for.

المؤهلات

أكثر من 9 سنوات من الخبرة المهنية، بما في ذلك الخبرة في الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم الحضري والتخطيط.
خبرة في مشاريع التخطيط والتصميم الحضري في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
- درجة البكالوريوس في التصميم الحضري أو التخطيط أو الهندسة المعمارية أو هندسة المناظر الطبيعية.

الواجبات والمسؤوليات

تنسيق وقيادة الفريق المخصص من المهندسين والفنيين على أساس يومي والتأكد من تحقيق التميز في التصميم طوال الوقت.
تطوير فلسفة تصميم شاملة، والمساهمة بشكل فعال في إنشاء وتطوير المشروع.
تطوير استراتيجية شاملة لتسليم المشروع.
إنتاج نطاق تفصيلي للخدمات المقدمة للمستشار الفرعي المتخصص.
قيادة أعمال التصميم والتأكد من تحقيق أهداف المشروع وتنفيذ تعليمات التصميم وتحقيق التسليم ضمن الوقت المحدد والميزانية المحددة.
