Senior Civil Engineer Opportunities in the UAE – Lead Government Asset Excellence
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to oversee the management, maintenance, and development of government assets, including buildings and staff accommodations across the Emirate. This role focuses on ensuring optimal asset performance, supervising maintenance activities, and managing facility-related projects in line with quality, safety, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee the management and maintenance of government buildings, accommodations, and facilities. Supervise facility-related projects including renovations, upgrades, and new developments. Review engineering works to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. Monitor contractor and service provider performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and KPIs. Conduct site inspections and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues. Manage asset lifecycle activities, including planning, maintenance, and improvements. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Prepare periodic reports on asset condition, maintenance status, and project progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 6–8 years of experience in facilities, buildings, or asset management. Strong experience in managing maintenance operations and contractors. Knowledge of building systems, infrastructure maintenance, and safety standards. Ability to manage multiple sites and operational priorities.
