Senior Associate, Compliance and Regulation

About the job

Kroll is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Financial Services Compliance and Regulation practice in the UAE. The role involves supporting asset management, investment, fintech, and regulated financial institutions across areas such as financial crime, governance, enterprise risk, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting. The position includes acting as an outsourced Compliance Officer (CO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for ADGM and DIFC entities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk-based reviews to identify control gaps and operational weaknesses.
  • Provide advisory support and on-the-job guidance to clients.
  • Draft reports for firms and regulatory authorities.
  • Analyze and visualize data trends and performance insights.
  • Prepare proposals and support business development activities.
  • Act as outsourced CO/MLRO/Deputy MLRO for regulated clients.
  • Manage AML/CFT frameworks, compliance monitoring, and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

Senior Manager, Discovery Solutions

Essential Traits & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Law, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, or digital investigations.
  • Strong expertise in Relativity and data processing workflows.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing client expectations and delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and cross-border compliance.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
