Job Title: House Manager

About the job:
We are seeking a highly professional, trustworthy, and experienced Butler to oversee the smooth operations of our villas. The Butler will serve as the central authority for household staff and property management, ensuring that every detail—from meals to ambiance—is executed according to the family's preferences and the highest standards of service. This role requires loyalty, discretion, and exceptional organizational skills to manage staff, maintain service quality, and ensure the comfort of the family and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Hospitality:
- Provide discreet, personalized service to the family and guests
- Supervise meal service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, ensuring presentation and timing are flawless
- Ensure the kitchen staff report to her, and that menus are planned according to the family's likes, dislikes, and dietary preferences, including regional and cultural requirements
- Ensure hospitality traditions (such as welcoming guests, serving refreshments, and respecting cultural norms) are maintained
- Coordinate with chefs/cooks for special dietary needs
- Curate ambiance through flowers, candles, evening lighting, and household presentation
- Oversee and host family events, dinners, and celebrations within the villas

Household & Staff Management:
- Lead and supervise household staff including maids, gardeners, pool attendants, kitchen staff, and drivers
- Manage scheduling, time off, and performance reviews, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Train and enforce cleaning, service, and hospitality standards to maintain consistency
- Ensure all staff execute duties professionally, on time, and to the family's satisfaction

Property & Ambience Management:
- Oversee the condition and upkeep of the gardens, pool, and indoor/outdoor areas
- Maintain flowers, candles, lighting, and decorative standards to enhance villa atmosphere
- Supervise cleaning and maintenance standards, including lights, air-conditioning systems, chillers, and generators
- Develop and maintain household standards and checklists in line with family expectations
- Conduct inspections to ensure readiness, cleanliness, and high standards are upheld
