About the Job
Responsible for supervising subordinates, attending interdepartmental meetings, receiving patients transferred from clinics or emergency, updating patient information, preparing admissions, and performing cashier duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to all hospital customers.
- Process manual receipts when the billing system is unavailable.
- Receive patients transferred from clinics or emergency.
- Place admission papers in patient files and coordinate with the seeking ward.
- Open new files and update patient information for admissions.
- Fill inpatient claims and prepare bills for all inpatient patients.
- Perform receptionist tasks, including answering incoming calls.
- Follow up with patients admitted without health insurance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
- Completion of structured specialty training (North American/European Board Certification, Fellowship of Royal College, or equivalent DOH-approved Tier 1/2 qualification).
- Postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS, or DNB generally required.
- 3–7 years of post-specialty clinical experience in a recognized multidisciplinary setting.
- DOH eligibility or valid license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
- Primary Source Verification (PSV) of all documents via Data Flow Group.
- DOH license exam completion unless exempted.

Key Responsibilities
- Interact with patients and customers via face-to-face, telephone, email, chat, or mobile app.
- Provide information on appointments, referrals, facilities, services, care providers, events, and campaigns.

- Maintain courtesy, professionalism, confidentiality, and privacy.
- Proactively attend to patient needs, requests, and concerns.
- Stay updated on services, physician specialties, workflows, documents, campaigns, and events.
- Assist with timely resolution and documentation of requests and escalate formal complaints to the Quality team.
- Communicate with SEHA staff to resolve issues and escalate clinical questions to Clinical team or unresolved issues to team leaders.
- Handle assigned tasks according to policies and procedures (scheduling, registration, eligibility check, payment collection).
