Exciting Opportunity: Process Engineer in UAE
Plan machining processes by studying work orders, blueprints, 3D models, wire frame models, engineering drawings, material specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. Apply statistical methods and perform stack-up calculations to determine optimized manufacturing processes in terms of safety, quality, repeatability, and cost. Proactively resolve technical, planning, or product quality issues to maximize process repeatability and minimize production costs. Contribute and take ownership in the generation of PFMEA documents. Read and produce engineering drawings according to different international standards with a sound knowledge of GD&T. Prepare/modify technical drawings, specifications, calculations, visual aids, and other documentation for production instruction or fixture definition. Support the design and modification of tooling and fixtures. Deliver results on business support projects (cost saving, industrialization, NCR, modifications) on time and within budget. Prepare and maintain work instructions to support production operators. Issue engineering official communication to production staff when an approved deviation is taken from work instructions. Work within the limits of authority as defined by the Manufacturing Engineering Procedures and obtain adequate approvals for any required deviations. Observe test cuts and FAIs during manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of machining processes, GD&T, PFMEA, and engineering drawings. Proven experience in process optimization, problem-solving, and quality control. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work within authority limits and follow standard procedures.
