Supervisor - Security (UAE National)
Job Description
- To assist in the effective implementation of EGA’s corporate Security control/protection strategic plans, policies and programs across the assigned area of operations.
- Ensure adherence to world-class Security control/protection practices in accord with international/local legislation and standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Implements approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the Security department.
- Ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are adhered to while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner within the assigned area of operations.
- Oversee day-to-day security operations.
Graduate Trainee Program
Purpose
- To train and prepare graduate trainees from colleges and universities for their target positions.
- Develop high potential UAE nationals to become future leaders at EGA.
Program Details
- Focus on practical and leadership/supervisory skills.
- Familiarization within the trainee's designated department for one month.
- On-the-job training geared towards the target position.
- Successful completion leads to placement in target position.
Criteria
- UAE National holding a family book.
- Maximum experience of 2–3 years; fresh graduates preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechatronics).

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in law or relevant field) from an internationally recognized university.
- Ethics & compliance certification desirable (e.g., Leading Professional in Ethics & Compliance, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, or Diploma in Compliance).
Minimum Experience
- 3 years relevant experience in ethics and compliance, preferably in a large international company in manufacturing/industry.
- Experience delivering training and conducting internal investigations desirable.

- Higher Secondary School Certificate.
- 4 years in a power station.
- 2 years’ experience as Desalination Operator (PG7) or equivalent.
- Achieved competencies in all areas except DCR operation.
- English language skills to prepare and complete shift reports (Intermediate 3 or equivalent).
- Communication, interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills.
- Basic numeracy (concentration, percentage, unit conversion, rate calculations, etc.).
