About the Job
Job Purpose:
To support and deliver scientific and operational research activities across DPMC’s precision medicine portfolio, contributing to study design, data generation, analysis, documentation, and dissemination. The Research Associate works under the direction of investigators and senior scientists to execute protocols with high quality, maintain study documentation and compliance, coordinate cross-functional activities (lab, biobank, clinical, data), and produce analysis-ready datasets and draft scientific outputs that enable publication and translation.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Research Associate contributes across the research lifecycle with a balance of hands-on execution and structured coordination.
- Lead study execution and protocol delivery.
- Execute assigned research activities across one or more programs (e.g., genomics/omics, biomarkers, clinical phenotyping, digital health research), ensuring adherence to approved protocols and timelines.
- Support protocol development and maintenance by drafting sections, SOPs, checklists, and operational workflows in collaboration with investigators.
- Track study progress, maintain task plans, and provide regular updates on milestones, issues, and dependencies.
Assistant Professor - Innovation
Qualification Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in Digital Health, BioDesign, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Health Systems, Public Health, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated scholarly expertise in digital health technologies, AI in healthcare, health data analytics, innovation management, or health systems digital transformation.
- Academic Experience: Evidence of academic teaching capability at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Experience in grant writing and securing funding.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years relevant postdoctoral academic, research, or industry experience in digital health or healthcare innovation.
UI/UX Designer (Medical Innovation) – Digital Products & VR Experiences
Roles & Responsibilities
The Designer will contribute across discovery → design → validation → handoff → iteration, with UI/UX as the core focus and VR as an applied specialization.
UI/UX Design (Primary Focus)
- Own end-to-end UX design for healthcare-related tools used by clinicians, researchers, trainees, and patients (as applicable).
- Translate complex clinical workflows into simple, reliable user journeys (task flows, wireframes, information architecture).
- Design high-quality UI with consistent visual language (components, grids, typography), aligned to a design system.
- Produce production-ready design outputs and clear handoff artifacts for engineers (specs, redlines, interaction notes).
Human-Centered Discovery and Usability Testing
- Plan and run user research activities: interviews, workflow observation/shadowing, co-design workshops, and prototype testing.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on evidence, focusing on error reduction, learnability, and efficiency (critical for clinical contexts).
- Map personas, service blueprints, and patient/clinician journeys; maintain a research repository and insights summaries.
Head Of XR & BCI Lab - Innovations
Overall Experience
- A minimum of 10 years experience: mix of professional and academic.
- At least 10 years of combined academic and professional experience in XR technologies, healthcare innovation, or related domains.
- A strong portfolio of XR research or projects demonstrating expertise in applying XR to healthcare, including published papers, prototypes, or commercialized products.
- Proven ability to secure and manage research funding, including experience in grant writing and fostering industry partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders such as clinicians, researchers, and developers.
Head of Section - Information Technology and Data Analytics
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Information Technology.
- Certification: CISA or equivalent.
Years of Experience
