Site Engineer
About the Job
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure works are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards. The role supports the Section Engineer by supervising manpower, coordinating subcontractors, managing site documentation, and monitoring progress to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drawing & Documentation Management:
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity, ensuring only the latest issued-for-construction drawings are used on site.
- Withdraw and control outdated drawings and documents.
- Maintain and update site documentation including daily site diaries, reports, and records.
- Prepare daily reports detailing quantities executed, workforce allocation, and work locations.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, preferably within building construction.
- Good understanding of construction logistics, material movement, and site coordination.
- Familiarity with transport documentation, delivery procedures, and site access controls.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and logistics tracking systems.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing site priorities.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Field-based role requiring full-time presence on construction sites.
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy equipment, and active construction zones.
- Must adhere to PPE and site safety protocols at all times.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in construction supervision across multiple trades (civil, steel, masonry, carpentry, electrical, finishing).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in site documentation, reporting, and basic computer tools (MS Office).
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in HSE, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Level 6 OHS Diploma (NEBOSH, OTIHM, or equivalent) – Mandatory.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in OHS (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent) – Mandatory.
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor – Mandatory.
- OSHA 10–30 Hours General Industry Safety and Health Program and/or other HSE-related training – Preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the field of Health and Safety.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as HSE Engineer / Lead or above, depending on qualification level.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
- Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and local authority requirements.
- Strong communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial oil & gas erection activities using various types of cranes and lifting equipment.
- Familiar with international standards and specifications for lifting accessories, including capacities, safe working loads, and crane load charts.
- Experienced in interpreting lifting drawings, preparing lifting plans, and checklists.
- Strong skills in managing workforce and equipment efficiently.
- Knowledgeable in operating and managing cranes, hiabs, forklifts, telehandlers, tool carriers, etc.
- Proficient in preparing rigging plans and conducting lifting studies.
- Conversant with oil & gas HSE requirements, work practices, and quality standards.
- Able to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures during lifting operations.

نبذة عن الوظيفة:
مسؤول عن الإشراف على الأنشطة اليومية للبناء في الموقع لضمان تنفيذ الأعمال بأمان، وفق الجدول الزمني، وبما يتوافق مع الرسومات والمواصفات وبيانات الأسلوب ومعايير الجودة المعتمدة. يدعم مهندس القسم من خلال الإشراف على القوى العاملة، تنسيق المقاولين الفرعيين، إدارة الوثائق، ومتابعة التقدم لتحقيق أهداف المشروع.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- مراجعة رسومات البناء لضمان الدقة والوضوح واستخدام أحدث النسخ المعتمدة فقط.
- سحب والتحكم في الرسومات والوثائق القديمة.
- الحفاظ على تحديث الوثائق الميدانية بما يشمل اليوميات والتقارير والسجلات.
- إعداد تقارير يومية توضح الكميات المنفذة، توزيع القوى العاملة، ومواقع العمل.
مسؤول لوجستيات (Logistics Officer)
المؤهلات والكفاءات المطلوبة:
- دبلوم أو بكالوريوس في الهندسة أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة 5+ سنوات في عمليات اللوجستيات، ويفضل ضمن قطاع البناء.
- فهم جيد للوجستيات الإنشائية، حركة المواد، وتنسيق المواقع.
- إلمام بوثائق النقل وإجراءات التسليم وضوابط الدخول للمواقع.

- دبلوم OHS مستوى 6 (NEBOSH, OTIHM أو ما يعادله) – إلزامي.

- مهارات قوية في إدارة القوى العاملة والمعدات بكفاءة.
