Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst

Job Purpose
The Senior Investment Analyst will support the Private Investments team across the full investment lifecycle; sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring real assets opportunities globally and within the UAE. The role involves underwriting global funds and co-investments, evaluating direct acquisition opportunities, supporting asset and portfolio management, and driving investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Investments (Direct & Indirect)

Assist senior team members with transaction execution, including analysis, documentation support, deal structuring, and coordination with advisors.

Work with internal departments (legal, finance, strategy) and external parties throughout the investment process.

Support negotiations through preparation of analysis, benchmarking, and scenario evaluation.

Conduct sector, market, and macroeconomic analysis to help identify trends and inform investment strategy.

Maintain databases, market maps, and research to support opportunity screening and portfolio understanding.

Conduct research and analysis across a range of real assets sectors.

Support evaluation of fund, co-investment, and direct investment opportunities.

Assist in developing investment committee memos, financial models, and valuation analyses to assess potential investments.
Investment Risk Analyst
Candidate Profile
-
3–7 years of experience in investment risk, portfolio risk, or investment analysis, ideally within an asset manager, private equity firm, investment bank, or family office.

Strong academic background (Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline). CFA/FRM or progress toward these qualifications is advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Python, R, SQL.

Apply data science and machine learning techniques to:

Enhance risk modelling and early warning signals (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive analytics).

Automate data pipelines and portfolio monitoring tools.

Extract insights from unstructured data (e.g., news, reports, alternative data).

Knowledge of Barra, PORT, Aladdin, or other risk models and risk systems is a must.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil), Project Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years’ experience in construction, real estate, or capital projects, with at least 7 years in financial project management within the construction domain.

Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery, performance management, and execution against strategic objectives.

Strong capability in financial and business analysis, including modelling, controls, and translating insights into decisions.

Recognised for leadership and influence, with the ability to drive multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure subsidiary alignment.

Skilled in strategic planning and organisational execution, mapping business objectives into actionable results while managing complexity.
