Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (IATA: RKT, ICAO: OMRK) is the primary airport serving the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.  Established in 1976, the airport features a 3,760‑meter runway, two passenger terminals, and dedicated facilities for cargo, aircraft maintenance, and aviation training. 

Strategically located at a crossroads between Europe, Asia, and Africa, RAK Airport is well positioned to support both tourism and trade.  In 2024, it experienced strong growth: passenger traffic rose 28% to around 662,000, and cargo throughput nearly doubled, highlighting its expanding role in global logistics.  The airport also holds the ACI Airport Health Accreditation and is pursuing carbon‑neutral operations, underscoring its commitment to safety and sustainability.

In a major move to boost premium travel, RAK Airport announced a partnership with Falcon Executive Aviation to build a VVIP terminal and large private‑jet hangars. The new facility will span 1,500 m² for the terminal and 8,000 m² for hangars, featuring lounges, a helipad, and private aircraft parking.  Designed with sustainability in mind, the development aims for LEED Gold certification, uses solar power, and plans to employ electric ground support equipment and sustainable aviation fuel. 

RAK Airport is also expanding its airline partnerships. For example, it has a new route with flyEgypt, offering direct flights to Cairo and Suhag, which strengthens its connections with North Africa
