IT Channel Sales Engineer

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and expansion of Eaton’s DPQ Electrical Products in the UAE, including the introduction of new product lines, expanding existing markets, and entering new ones.
Create and execute annual action plans to achieve Eaton’s DPQ growth objectives in the UAE.
Prepare accurate quotations and sales analysis reports (weekly and monthly) to keep management informed of performance and forecasts.
Provide regular market feedback and insights on challenges and opportunities.
Offer first-line technical support to secure client design approvals, coordinating closely with technical teams on ongoing projects.
Focus on demand creation and sales activities for Eaton IT Channel Partners, ensuring effective engagement with system integrators and end users.
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, IT resellers, and system integrators to strengthen Eaton’s market position.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for customers to showcase DPQ solutions.
Manage Sell-in and Sell-out activities with distributors, ensuring timely and efficient customer engagement.

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineer - Automation Technology

Please note that there will be a 6-month training period in Europe, and travel flexibility is required for this position.

This role is responsible for the mechanical design, assembly, and operation of automated machines. You will play a key part in the development, maintenance, and optimization of automation systems, integrating robotics, PLCs, and advanced technologies into production processes.

What You’ll Do

Design, assemble, and wire mechanical systems for machines and plants.
Perform maintenance work on mechanical and electronic systems, including inspection, cleaning, and lubrication.
Create safety and data concepts for machines.
Design and optimize automation solutions for production facilities using PLC controllers, robotics, industrial image processing, drive systems, and other automation technologies.
Program and commission PLC controllers, safety systems, and HMI interfaces.
Integrate robotic systems and other automated components into existing production lines.
Conduct functional and performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and optimize control programs.
Prepare technical documentation, operating manuals, and training materials.
Collaborate in planning and executing modernization and expansion projects for production facilities.
Support and train employees on new automation technologies.
Contribute to the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies such as 3D printing, AMR, predictive maintenance, and simulation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

What You’ll Do

Deliver high-quality quotations within agreed timelines.
Interpret and analyze customer technical engineering requests for quotations, identifying key requirements and collaborating with internal engineering, commercial, and marketing teams.
Specify, calculate, and prepare technical quotations following company standards and procedures.
Work closely with internal experts and external customers to ensure satisfaction and project success.
Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
