Electrical Engineer - DEWA ED Works

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in DEWA Electricity Distribution Works (ED Works), specifically in 11kV / 33kV cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing. The candidate will be responsible for DEWA submissions, project approvals, and execution of high-voltage underground cable projects in compliance with DEWA standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage DEWA submissions and approvals for ED Works (11kV/33kV).

• Supervise cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing activities on site.

• Coordinate with DEWA inspectors, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure all works comply with DEWA regulations, safety, and quality standards.

• Prepare and review electrical drawings, load schedules, and project documentation.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the UAE in DEWA ED Works (11kV/33kV cable projects).
