Responsible for preparing realistic and competitive quotations covering all aspects of projects including preliminaries, logistics, civils, MEP, joinery, and finishes.
Conduct quantity take-offs and verify take-offs prepared by other estimators.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fit-out works and verify BOQs prepared by other estimators.
Identify and submit value-engineered options to improve chances of winning tenders.
Ensure bid compliance with tender documents including logistics, transportation, and supervision.
Carry out site visits, compile preliminaries, and price the works accordingly.
Send enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors for joinery-related works, thoroughly reviewing quotations.
Compile pricing using plant, labor, materials, and quotations.
Manage subcontractor prequalification to ensure appropriate experience and resources.
Present tender adjudication reports to senior management for finalization.
Prepare cover letters including qualifications and exclusions.
Communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve tender clarifications and discuss value engineering.
Handover project details to delivery team upon successful award.

Project Engineer (Fit out)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Plan, organize, and coordinate project execution on-site and internally to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Prepare project implementation plans and organize resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
Receive and evaluate quotations from labor subcontractors and select cost-effective contractors.
Organize project installation design based on client/consultant layout and obtain approval.
Conduct site meetings with consultants and clients, address queries, and manage changes or additional work quotations.
Maintain internal HSE/QA/QC procedures and schedules.

Solve on-site issues to ensure smooth project implementation.

Perform quantity surveying duties including measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections.

Prepare procurement schedules and monitor project progress.
Administer measurement and settlement of subcontract accounts.
