Project Engineer – Pressure Vessels & Storage Tanks

Job Description:

• Manage projects related to pressure vessels, storage tanks, structures, and skid packages.

• 5 to 8 years of experience working in an ASME authorized fabrication facility.

• Experience with site construction projects for storage tanks is highly desirable.

• Strong coordination skills with the ability to make decisions aligned with project requirements.

• Excellent computer skills and ability to coordinate with teams.

• Full project ownership including client interaction, planning, commercial, and scheduling.

• Deep experience in reviewing work procedures, execution plans, and contract-specific work procedures.

• Technical knowledge of materials, welding, and coating/painting procedures.

Mechatronics Engineer

📌 Job Responsibilities

1. Design, test, and implement high precision mechanisms, electromechanical assemblies, and mechatronic systems.

2. Read and interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.

3. Design 3D metal parts for various manufacturing techniques.

4. Machine building (machines, conveyor belts, welding machines, painting machines, etc.) and automation using robotic systems, computer vision, and human-machine interface solutions for the industrial sector.

5. Design, test, and troubleshoot special-application end effectors on industrial robots and robotic systems.

Production Supervisor

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in pressure vessel fabrication and structural fabrication environments.

• Experience must include working with pressure vessels, storage tanks, steel structures, tank farm operations, pipeline systems, and pump house installations.

• Solid understanding of design, fabrication, and installation processes in these areas.

Technical Knowledge:

• Thorough knowledge of pressure vessel repair activities related to pressure vessels and structural fabrication.

• Extensive experience with welding methodologies including TIG, MIG, SAW, SMAW, etc. for pressure vessels and structural fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Plan manpower and resource requirements effectively.

• Order parts and tools following company procedures.

• Coordinate with production teams to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.

• Monitor safety within the department.

• Utilize MRP systems to gather and analyze manufacturing data.

• Implement process improvements through lean manufacturing activities.

• Organize and maintain employee training matrix and plan future training sessions.

• Review department capacity and adjust to meet current and future needs.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication detail drawings for API 650 storage tanks, spheres, pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, plant piping/pipe supports, and structural drawings.

• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BoQ).

• Check drawings and ensure accuracy in coordination with other discipline draughtsmen and design engineers.

• Develop as-built drawings according to site modifications and updates.

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), CADWorx, and Tekla Structures for structural and piping modeling.

• Handle drafting scope for EPC projects in compliance with international codes, Oil & Gas industry standards, and good engineering practices.

• Manage drafting responsibilities for multiple projects simultaneously.
