AUT Interpreter

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trained and certified as an ASNT and/or CSWIP AUT Operator and Interpreter, with current certification.

• Experience with PipeWizard Phased Array AUT system (Olympus PIPEWIZARD V4 system), including training in its setup, use, and maintenance.

• Ensures all AUT equipment is suitable and operational throughout the project.

• Maintains AUT systems to ensure proper functionality.

• Ensures work is performed expeditiously and in accordance with agreed procedures and standards.

• Reports relevant data clearly and accurately; ensures daily electronic backups are made.

• Manages daily reporting and administrative tasks, including timesheets and work records.

• Maintains logs of component changes and repairs to AUT equipment.

• Conducts personnel team briefings, toolbox talks, and equipment inspections.

• Acts as the primary client liaison, ensuring communication is clear and responsive.

• Ensures that the client’s technical and administrative requirements are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Functions:

• Frequent visits to fabricators' workshops to review quality of work and supervise fabricator activities (e.g., welding, NDT, coating, dimensional checks, etc.).

• Development or review of Inspection Test Plans as directed by the client.

• Identification and reporting of non-conformances in fabrication processes and materials.

• Report daily progress on all fabrication activities to QA/QC Team Lead and Fabrication Team Lead.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

• Ensure that Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to maintain a safe working environment, as far as reasonably practicable.

NDT Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques on components, pipework, and structural assemblies to assess compliance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria.

Functions

ESSENTIAL [Post NDT Training]:

• Undertake various NDT techniques including:

  • Visual Testing (VT)

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

  • Penetrant Testing (PT)

  • Radiographic Testing (RT)

  • Eddy Current Testing (ET)

• Ensure that the work area is safe for NDT activities.

ROV Senior Pilot Technician

Position Summary:

The role is responsible for operating Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), Subsea Tooling, IWOCS and RWOCS Systems, Tensioning and Reel Systems safely and efficiently, while also maintaining and repairing all associated electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and sub-systems, including component repair, replacement, and troubleshooting.

Functions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate various equipment including:

  • Cameras (both video and still images)

  • Acoustic positioning systems

  • Sonars

  • Manipulators (robotic arms)

  • LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems)

  • Hydraulic power units

  • Complex subsea tooling

  • Surface and subsea workover systems

• Assist or pilot the ROV, evaluating environmental conditions and hazards.

  • Dock/undock from TMS (Tether Management System).

  • Navigate the ROV via acoustics, sonar, and visual (video) systems.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment:

  • Maintain/repair electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

  • Use test equipment, calibrate, and align equipment.

  • Perform general housekeeping and corrosion control.

• Operate and repair electrical-over-hydraulic and direct hydraulic control systems that interact with pumps, valves, and other hydraulic power and transmission equipment.

• Operate and interface with sub-sea navigational equipment, including but not limited to:

  • Magnetic compass

  • Gyro

  • Transducer

  • Sonar

  • Altimeter

  • Associated survey equipment.
