Foreman Opportunity – Manage a Busy Auto Workshop in Deira

Job Title: Automobile Workshop Foreman
Department: Workshop Operations
Location: Al Khabeesi, Deira – Dubai
Reports To: Workshop Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED 3,500 – AED 4,500 per month

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automobile Workshop Foreman to lead daily operations at our busy auto workshop in Al Khabeesi, Deira. The ideal candidate must possess technical expertise, team management skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workshop Operations Management

Supervise repairs and maintenance, ensuring safety and quality standards
Assign jobs to technicians based on skills and workload
Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion
Conduct final vehicle inspections after repair

2. Technical Expertise

Diagnose complex issues and guide the team
Stay updated on new technologies
Assist with troubleshooting and challenging repairs

3. Team Leadership

Motivate, train, and evaluate technicians
Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions

4. Customer Interaction

Communicate with customers and explain repair work
Provide accurate time and cost estimates
Handle complaints with professionalism

5. Inventory & Resources

Manage tools, parts, and workshop cleanliness
Coordinate with procurement for parts and supplies

6. Reporting

Prepare daily progress and productivity reports
Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts

Qualifications & Skills

Technical:

Hands-on expertise with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, etc.
Skilled in diagnostic tools and software
Knowledge of workshop safety procedures

Leadership:

Proven team management experience
Good delegation and motivation skills

Customer Service:

Strong verbal communication and diplomacy
Able to translate technical info for non-technical clients

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field
5+ years’ experience as technician; 2+ years in a supervisory role
ASE certification is a plus

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Workshop efficiency and job turnaround time
Customer satisfaction and retention
Quality of repairs and safety compliance

Working Conditions:

Full-time role; extended hours may be required
Exposure to noise, grease, and workshop equipment

نبحث عن فورمان ورشة سيارات ذو خبرة للإشراف على العمليات اليومية في ورشتنا بمنطقة الخبيصي – ديرة. يجب أن يتمتع المرشح بخبرة فنية قوية، ومهارات قيادة فريق، وقدرة على تقديم خدمة عملاء متميزة.

المهام الوظيفية الرئيسية

1. إدارة عمليات الورشة

الإشراف على أعمال الصيانة والإصلاح وفقًا لمعايير السلامة والجودة
توزيع المهام على الفنيين حسب المهارات والحمولة
متابعة سير العمل وضمان إنجاز المهام في الوقت المحدد
فحص المركبات بعد الإصلاح لضمان الجودة

2. الخبرة الفنية

تشخيص الأعطال المعقدة وتوجيه الفريق الفني
متابعة أحدث تقنيات إصلاح السيارات
المساعدة في إصلاح الأعطال الصعبة

3. القيادة والإشراف

تحفيز وتدريب الفنيين ورفع كفاءتهم
تقييم الأداء وتقديم ملاحظات بنّاءة

4. التعامل مع العملاء

التواصل مع العملاء لشرح الأعطال والإصلاحات
تقديم تقديرات دقيقة للتكاليف والمدة الزمنية
معالجة شكاوى العملاء بلباقة

5. إدارة الموارد والمخزون

التأكد من توفر الأدوات وقطع الغيار وتنظيم الورشة
التنسيق مع فريق الشراء لتأمين المتطلبات

6. التقارير والتوثيق

إعداد تقارير يومية عن سير العمل والإنتاجية
الاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة للأعمال المنجزة والقطع المستخدمة

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة

مهارات فنية:

خبرة عملية في إصلاح المحركات، الكهرباء، أنظمة النقل، إلخ
إتقان استخدام أدوات وبرامج التشخيص
معرفة بإجراءات السلامة داخل الورش

مهارات قيادية:

خبرة مثبتة في إدارة فرق العمل داخل الورش
قدرة على التفويض وتحفيز الفريق

خدمة العملاء:

مهارات تواصل ممتازة
القدرة على شرح المشاكل الفنية بشكل مبسط

المتطلبات الدنيا:

دبلوم أو بكالوريوس في هندسة السيارات أو مجال مشابه
خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات كفني، منها سنتين كـ مشرف
يفضل وجود شهادة ASE أو ما يعادلها

Job Overview

Doctor Cars Auto is seeking a technically skilled and performance-driven Workshop Engine Mechanic to lead our technical team and manage daily operations. The successful candidate will allocate workloads, supervise repairs, and ensure vehicles are delivered on time and in top condition.

What You Will Do

Lead and supervise technicians to ensure shop floor efficiency and timely vehicle delivery
Maximize productivity, utilization, and efficiency of workshop staff
Distribute and follow up on jobs to ensure quality work and schedule adherence
Reduce repeat jobs and boost customer satisfaction and retention
Train and coach team members to enhance skills and performance
Perform road tests (pre- and post-repair) to validate complaints and ensure effective fixes
Enforce company procedures and warranty policies

Required Skills

Proven experience in managing and supervising technicians in a workshop
Ability to improve workshop KPIs and overall efficiency
Competent in writing technical reports
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a workshop as a Supervisor, Controller, or Foreman
UAE Driving License is mandatory
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as an automotive technician
