We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the full lifecycle of our building materials product portfolio, including timber, hardware, plumbing, and electrical supplies. This role demands a balance of market analysis, supplier coordination, pricing strategy, and product development. Manage and optimize the entire product range based on current market needs and trends. Analyze competitor offerings to identify strategic opportunities. Identify and build relationships with suppliers—locally and internationally—to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and reliable delivery. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and monitor ongoing performance. Set pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness and profitability. Work closely with sales and finance teams to assess margin performance. Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely product availability. Coordinate closely with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock efficiently. Lead the identification of product gaps and initiate new product development. Oversee sample approvals, product testing, and documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience in product management within the building materials industry. Strong understanding of procurement, pricing, and inventory control. Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into action. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
