Job Summary:
The MEP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects to ensure efficient project execution. This includes design coordination, review of technical submissions, site inspections, and liaison with consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all MEP works are integrated and delivered as per project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review MEP drawings, plans, and specifications for compliance with project requirements and standards

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams for design approvals and technical clarifications

• Ensure proper coordination of all MEP services to avoid clashes, especially using BIM models

• Monitor MEP work progress to align with the construction schedule

• Participate in design, technical, and coordination meetings

• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documents

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with safety and project standards

• Coordinate with civil and architectural disciplines for integrated site execution

• Liaise with authorities to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations

• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

• 5–8 years experience in MEP coordination on large construction projects

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), MS Office; Navisworks experience is a plus

• Familiar with local building codes and approval processes

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman with experience in the construction industry, capable of preparing precise electrical drawings and documentation in compliance with UAE regulatory standards, including DEWA, TAQA, and local municipality codes. The ideal candidate will support engineering teams by translating design concepts into detailed drawings and ensuring all work meets regulatory, safety, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical drawings and layouts including:

  • Single-line diagrams (SLDs)

  • Power & lighting layouts
