Environmental Laboratory Manager Opportunity in the UAE 

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environmental Laboratory Manager to lead and oversee laboratory operations in water and soil testing. The role requires hands-on proficiency with advanced instruments such as GC-FID, Headspace GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, ICP-OES, and IC, with a focus on organic and inorganic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing to detect hydrocarbons, volatiles, pesticides, etc., in water and soil using modern instrumentation.

• Collect, preserve, and transport water samples while maintaining sample integrity.

• Develop new analytical methods and laboratory protocols to optimize performance.

• Conduct validation and uncertainty measurements for lab parameters.

• Implement strict quality control procedures to ensure analytical reliability.

• Prepare and store standard solutions and reagents for varied analysis needs.

• Carry out regular checks per ISO/APHA methodologies.

• Support QA/QC checks, calibrations, and verifications as guided by Lab Manager.

• Perform wet chemistry tests including BOD, COD, ammonia, sulfide, and TDS.

• Maintain a clean and safe lab environment in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and GLP standards.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for contamination risks.

• Report non-conformities and assist with necessary corrective follow-ups.

  Requirements

• Proven experience working with high-end laboratory instruments (GC, ICP-OES, IC).

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards and local environmental regulations.

• Experience in method development, QA/QC protocols, and routine chemical analysis.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or in a team.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a laboratory team.

نبحث عن مدير مختبر بيئي متمرس لقيادة العمليات المخبرية في تحليل عينات المياه والتربة. يتطلب الدور خبرة عملية باستخدام أجهزة متقدمة مثل GC-FID وHeadspace GC-MS وGC-MS/MS وICP-OES وIC، مع تركيز على التحاليل العضوية وغير العضوية.

المهام الرئيسية

• إجراء التحاليل للكشف عن الهيدروكربونات والمركبات المتطايرة والمبيدات في المياه والتربة باستخدام الأجهزة الحديثة.

• جمع وحفظ ونقل عينات المياه مع الحفاظ على سلامتها.

• تطوير طرق تحليل جديدة وبروتوكولات مخبرية لتحسين الأداء.

• إجراء دراسات التحقق وقياسات عدم اليقين للمعايير المخبرية.

• تطبيق إجراءات صارمة لضبط الجودة لضمان موثوقية التحاليل.

• تحضير وتخزين المحاليل القياسية والكواشف الكيميائية للتحاليل المختلفة.

• تنفيذ الفحوصات اليومية والأسبوعية والشهرية حسب طرق ISO/APHA.

• تنفيذ فحوصات ضبط الجودة ومعايرة الأجهزة حسب توجيهات مدير القسم أو المختبر.

• إجراء التحاليل الكيميائية الرطبة مثل BOD، COD، الأمونيا، الكبريتيد، والمواد الصلبة الذائبة.

• الحفاظ على بيئة مخبرية نظيفة وآمنة وفقًا لمعايير ISO/IEC 17025 ومتطلبات GLP.

• إجراء تقييمات للمخاطر ووضع استراتيجيات لمنع التلوث.

• الإبلاغ عن أي حالات عدم مطابقة والمساعدة في تنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية اللازمة.

  الشروط

• خبرة مثبتة في استخدام أجهزة المختبرات المتقدمة مثل GC وICP-OES وIC.

• معرفة قوية بمعايير ISO/IEC 17025 واللوائح البيئية المحلية.

• خبرة في تطوير الطرق وإجراءات ضمان الجودة والتحليل الكيميائي الروتيني.

• دقة وتنظيم وقدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل أو ضمن فريق.

• مهارات تواصل ممتازة وقدرة على قيادة فريق المختبر.
