Air Freight Specialist

Location: Riyadh Region (On-site)
Company: DHL Global Forwarding

Execute AFR Ops/CS plans and processes to provide air freight forwarding for internal and external customers
Assess and interpret to provide requirements of freight control center
Support operations teams with detailed instructions for performance
Implement freight allocation and reservation processes for line haul and flights
Participate in developing air freight plans for sectors like perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation, etc.
Develop opportunities to expand business with new clients
Continuously improve in-house customer service standards
Maintain close relationships with current clients and conduct regular visits
Achieve customer retention objectives

Support administration of warehouse and manual handling processes
Receive, sort, and process cargo as per schedules and regulations
Verify the receipt and issue of cargo against documentation
Load and unload materials on pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually

Load materials into trucks and containers
Use tools to install strapping, bracing, and padding for shipments
Comply with health and safety procedures in the warehouse
