Join Air Arabia’s maintenance team as an NDT Technician and contribute to the safety and reliability of aircraft operations! Assist in performing essential Non-Destructive Testing tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance in line with company and regulatory standards.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose

الخبرة العملية

• خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في صيانة الهياكل ضمن بيئة صيانة أساسية.

• خبرة مثبتة في الإشراف وتصديق أعمال صيانة هياكل الطائرات التجارية، ويفضل في أساطيل إيرباص أو بوينغ.

• القدرة على تفسير وتطبيق كتيبات صيانة الطائرات، ومخططات إصلاح الهيكل، والرسومات الهندسية.

• خبرة في تحليل الأسباب الجذرية وتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية بالتنسيق مع فرق الهندسة وضمان الجودة.

• الإلمام بالمتطلبات التنظيمية من هيئات مثل EASA، GCAA، أو FAA.

• خبرة في استخدام برامج إدارة الصيانة لتتبع المهام والتوثيق.

• خبرة في العمل في بيئة حرجة تتطلب الالتزام الصارم بمعايير السلامة ومبادئ العوامل البشرية.

• القدرة على قيادة وتحفيز وتطوير فريق فني مع إدارة فعالة للأعباء والأولويات.

Job Purpose
To develop, manage, and monitor the Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircrafts “Structures” for reliability; encompasses short/long term maintenance needs and modifications to optimize and extend the reliability and airworthiness of the aircrafts structures, enhance operational dispatch, and ensure fleet readiness and safety as well as compliance with the Airworthiness Directive as issued by the relevant aviation authorities.

Key Result Responsibilities

• On day-to-day basis to support the engineering maintenance (Line, Hangar, MCC, other CAMO Department), this would include data collation, performance review, analysis of requests, management reporting, corrective measures, and necessary modifications.

• Liaison between Air Arabia and external parties such as OEMs and regulatory bodies on matters related to modification, corrective measure and projects.

• Utilizes data gathered from different sources to conduct technical root-cause analysis and troubleshooting and decide on aircrafts efficiency and maintenance needs.

• Analyzes data and technical performance reports to define the expected life cycle of components, identify trends, highlight findings and suggest solutions and proactive modifications.

• Identifies corrective measures and modifications to fix any damages or airworthiness findings, ensures recommends AMP inclusions/exclusions of modifications along with justification and supporting evidences, as and when required.

• Reviews technical documents, evaluates services and provide business cases; drafts the EO’s (Engineering Orders for implementation of modification/repair).

• Partners with stakeholders such as Projects, Warranty, Legal and Finance in developing new projects and initiatives and in drafting engineering and maintenance related contracts and SLAs, this includes evaluations, feasibility studies, researches, testing, etc.

• Supports Head of Engineering in developing procedures, specifications, and EOS (Engineering Operational Standards) associated with the CAMO.

Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

• Maintains a database of all defects, damages, repairs, drawings and charts for Air Arabia fleet and Third Party aircrafts as well as cabin configuration changes and its related supporting drawing to be referred to when and as needed. Acts as the primary custodian of all aircraft internal and external paint drawings.

• Provides guidance and support to the MROs when and as needed; communicates to them any changes, mandatory modifications and any necessary information or action to be taken.

• Assists in the closure of occurrence reports and audit findings.

• Participates in function related meetings/conferences and events both internally and externally.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

• Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Mechanical or equivalent (LAE); alternately a higher diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure.

• Capable of producing drawings using CAD is considered an advantage.

• Project Management, Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings are an added value and some may be treated as conditional for this role.

• Capable of using technology systems & tools; proficient in Microsoft office, MRO systems and Web Search.

• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.

• Fluent in English Language.

Work Experience

• 5+ years’ of collective experience in the Aviation industry; On the Job Training (OJT) or post university time spent at an Airline company as a Trainee or in a similar capacity shall be counted for as part of the experience; experience with Airbus 320 aircrafts is highly desirable.

• Experienced in aircrafts airworthiness programs requirements and regulations, such as CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) requirements.

• Very good understanding of aircrafts planning/maintenance systems and techniques and their relation to the aircraft maintenance program.

• Familiar with rules and regulations of Civil Aviation Authorities, preferably GCAA, pertaining to the Engineering Maintenance, policies, procedures, manuals.

• Can demonstrate a working knowledge of EASA part 145, part 21 and sub part “M” requirements.

• Capable of measuring performance against regulations and contracts of extreme technical nature.

• Hands on designing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures and operating manuals as per business needs and in line with adopted regulations and approved quality standards.

• Exposure to Quality Assurance /Safety/Internal & External Audit practices affecting maintenance program.

• Cost-oriented, possesses effective problem solving and decision making skills.

• تحديد التدابير التصحيحية والتعديلات لإصلاح أي أضرار أو نتائج صلاحية الطيران، وضمان توصية شمول/استثناء التعديلات في برنامج صيانة الطائرات (AMP) مع تقديم المبررات والأدلة الداعمة عند الحاجة.

• مراجعة الوثائق الفنية، تقييم الخدمات وتقديم دراسات جدوى؛ صياغة أوامر الهندسة (EOs) لتنفيذ التعديلات/الإصلاحات.

• التعاون مع أصحاب المصلحة مثل المشاريع، الضمان، الشؤون القانونية والمالية في تطوير المشاريع والمبادرات الجديدة وصياغة العقود والاتفاقيات المتعلقة بالصيانة والهندسة، ويتضمن ذلك التقييمات، دراسات الجدوى، الأبحاث، والاختبارات.

• المشاركة في الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات والفعاليات المتعلقة بالوظيفة داخلياً وخارجياً.

المؤهلات (الأكاديمية، التدريب، اللغات)

• درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة الطائرات/الهندسة الجوية/الميكانيكية أو ما يعادلها (LAE)؛ أو دبلوم عالي أو شهادة في المجال ذي الصلة من جامعة أو كلية هندسية معترف بها مع الخبرة اللازمة.

• القدرة على إنتاج الرسومات باستخدام برامج CAD تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

• شهادات وتدريبات في إدارة المشاريع، مراقبة التكاليف، الامتثال، الميزانية وضمان الجودة تعتبر قيمة مضافة وقد تكون شرطاً لبعض المتطلبات الوظيفية.

• إجادة استخدام نظم وأدوات التكنولوجيا؛ متقن في استخدام حزمة Microsoft Office، أنظمة MRO، والبحث عبر الإنترنت.

• مهارات ممتازة في التواصل الكتابي والشفهي: إعداد التقارير، العروض التقديمية، وغيرها.

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية بطلاقة.

الخبرة العملية

• خبرة عملية متراكمة تزيد عن 5 سنوات في صناعة الطيران؛ ويُحتسب التدريب العملي أثناء العمل أو الفترة بعد الجامعة في شركة طيران كمتدرب أو في منصب مشابه كجزء من الخبرة؛ ويفضل خبرة مع طائرات Airbus 320.

• خبرة في متطلبات برامج صلاحية الطائرات واللوائح ذات الصلة، مثل متطلبات CAMO (منظمة إدارة صلاحية الطيران المستمرة).

• فهم جيد جداً لأنظمة وتقنيات تخطيط وصيانة الطائرات وعلاقتها ببرنامج الصيانة الخاص بالطائرة.

• معرفة بقوانين وأنظمة هيئات الطيران المدني، ويفضل GCAA، المتعلقة بصيانة الهندسة، السياسات، الإجراءات والكتيبات.

• القدرة على إظهار معرفة عملية بمتطلبات EASA الجزء 145، الجزء 21 والجزء الفرعي "M".
